Shearing
The goats are sheared twice each year — once in spring before hot weather sets in, and once in fall in time for them to grow back a bit of insulating fleece before winter.
Milling
We use a variety of local mills to process the fiber–washing it, carding it into roving, blending it with Merino wool for ideal spinning strength, and sometimes mill-spinning.

Dying
We use non-toxic acid dyes in our home studio to create the rich colors you find in our one-of-a-kind fiber products.

Spinning
Our hand-spun yarn is exactly what it sounds like–spun by hand on a spinning wheel using a mix of hand-dyed roving and locks making each skein a unique work of art.
